Northeast Reining Horse Association

Founded in 1975, the NERHA is an affiliate organization of the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA). The NERHA typically hosts 8 to 10 reining shows throughout New England each year, as well as an annual awards banquet and clinics with top NRHA professionals. What is Reining? It is a judged event designed to show the athletic ability of a ranch type horse through a selection of patterns which include circles, spins and sliding stops (and so much more) within the confines of a show arena.
